When you start doing the workbook lessons of A Course In Miracles you will find that the lessons and your experience become one thing. You might wake up in the morning and have a thought, you might be in the middle of a particular undoing, and you open up your book and find it says exactly what you are experiencing. The book and you are one, and you can't tell whether it is the lesson that opens up the experience or whether your experience is why that particular lesson is the one you are practicing for the day. You find yourself right in the middle of the certainty that there is really nothing outside of you.

I was mistaken when I thought I lived apart from God, a separate entity that moved in isolation, unattached, and housed within a body. Now I know my life is God's, I have no other home, and I do not exist apart from Him. He has no Thoughts that are not part of me, and I have none but those which are of Him.

Right now I am in the experience where I feel that I am being stripped of everything. My circumstances have changed for a moment and it is the perfect opportunity to look at certain habits that have crept into my life and escaped my vigilance.

Our Father, let us see the face of Christ instead of our mistakes. For we who are Your holy Son are sinless. We would look upon our sinlessness, for guilt proclaims that we are not Your Son. And we would not forget You longer. We are lonely here, and long for Heaven, where we are at home. Today we would return. Our Name is Yours, and we acknowledge that we are Your Son.

The experience that this world has nothing to offer you that can bring you lasting happiness might seem to be a devastating one. The surprise is that when you see the world as it truly is, a great sense of peace and freedom will be your gift. For the fact is that no matter how many people surround you, no matter how many friends you have, no matter how lasting your relationship is, there is no comfort here. You always find that it is just you. It doesn't matter how succesful you are or how much money you make. Unless you are in the continuous experience of your oneness with your Creator, you will experience the sense of loneliness that all who wander this world have come to accept as what life is. It has nothing to do with life. You were not created to be lonely and you are, in fact, never alone. When you stop focusing on things seemingly outside yourself you can stand in the spot where you feel completely alone, only to have it be revealed to you that there is One who is always with you. You can always count on the Holy Spirit, Jesus is standing next to you and God created you one with Him.

What a great offering, but don't take my word for it. Ask for the experience. All I want to offer you in this blog is an experience that is not of this world. It is available to you, and A Course In Miracles and this blog are only tools to lead you to the experience. Once your mind is opened, you hear the Voice for God and you speak the words that are offered you, you are on your way. Let yourself be used today. There is really nothing else left for you to do.
